Promotion Sample Clauses

Promotion. Employees who are promoted during the life of this Agreement shall be granted a salary increase of at least one (1) step or shall be paid at the minimum of the higher range, whichever is greater.
Promotion. In the event an employee is transferred, within the Company, out of the bargaining unit for any reason and is later transferred back, he shall be returned to employment as an experienced clerk in a department in which he formerly qualified without loss of seniority from his last date of hire.
Promotion. Any employee in the bargaining unit receiving a promotion under the provisions of this Agreement shall be moved to the appropriate range and step of the new class to insure not less than a five percent (5%) hourly increase as a result of that promotion, except that the employees may be placed on the last step of the appropriate range if that is the maximum allowable for the class. An employee who has worked for the program for more than one (1) year shall not be placed at a step lower than Step B as a result of that promotion.
Promotion. When an employee is promoted from a classification with a salary grade to a classification which is one grade higher, the employee shall be placed in the lowest step which provides at least a six (6) percent increase in annual salary, but in no event shall the new rate exceed the maximum in the new grade. When an employee is promoted from a classification with a salary grade to a classification, which is two, or more salary grades higher, the employee shall be placed in the lowest step which provides at least a twelve (12) percent increase in annual salary, but in no event shall the new rate exceed the maximum in the new grade. When an employee is promoted from a classification with a salary grade, slope scale or flat rate to a classification with a slope scale, the employee shall receive a six (6) percent increase in annual salary if the slope scale is the equivalent of one grade higher than the salary grade from which the employee is promoted. An employee shall receive an increase of twelve (12) percent if the slope scale is the equivalent of two or more grades higher than the salary from which the employee is promoted, but in no event shall the new rate exceed the maximum in the new scale. When an employee is promoted from a classification with a salary grade, slope scale or flat rate to a classification with a flat rate, the employee shall receive the specified flat rate salary.
Promotion. An employee promoted to a higher position requiring that he/she move to another location, shall have the full cost of moving his/her household effects paid, and shall also receive up to the sum of $600.00 to cover other receipted costs arising as a result of moving. Such receipted expenses to be claimed directly to the office of the National Secretary-Treasurer.
Promotion. In all cases where the Licensee makes promotion material involving the Trademarks, the production cost of such material thereof shall be borne by the Licensee. All copyrights or other intellectual property rights of such material concerning the Trademarks thereto shall be the sole and exclusive property of the Licensor whether developed by the Licensor or the Licensee. The Licensee agrees not to advertise or publicize any of the Trademarks on radio, television, papers, magazines, Internet or otherwise without prior written consent of the Licensor.
Promotion. A promotion occurs when a current ASF Member is selected to fill a vacant position in a higher salary range. An ASF Member assigned to fill a position in the bargaining unit in a higher salary range on an Acting or Interim basis pursuant to Article 12, Section I, Subdivision 2 who is subsequently selected to fill the same position shall be deemed to have been promoted. Compensation will be determined at the time of the new appointment.
